Q1: What are the selection criteria of the Alibaba Netpreneur Masterclass program?
1. Owner or founder/co-founder/C level executives of digital ecosystem builders or traditional businesses looking to digitally adapt in multiple sectors, including but not limited to e-commerce, fintech, logistics, manufacturing, retailing and etc.
2. Track record of success w/ at least 2 years operations.
3. Mission-driven mindset.
Q2: I am the founder of the company. Can I send my son or daughter or other representatives to attend the program?
The program is designed for founders, co-founders, C level executives or business owners. We will only consider the representative if he or she is one of the founders or business owners of the company. If your business is a family business and your son/daughter is actively managing the company, he or she can also apply. Any representatives must submit their own application in order to attend.
Q3: Can more than one founder/co-founder/business owner from one company apply and join the program?
More than one founder/co-founder/business owner from a company can apply. However, due to limited positions in the program, we can only offer admission to one founder/co-founder/C level executive/business owner from each company. Our team will decide who to invite based on the strength of a candidate's application or interview.
Q4: I understand applicants need to submit their business registration details. Where on the online form should I share this information?
You do not need to upload your business registration details to apply for the online course. We may request a business license if you are eligible for the offline training session. Please be prepared to present your business license if you are selected to interview.
Q5: What language will the Alibaba Netpreneur Training program be conducted in?
English. Fluency in English is required to participate.
Q6: Where is the program going to take place and what is the time commitment for participants?
The online course is scheduled for about 4 weeks and will take place on Alibaba's online learning platform DingTalk. Participants can access the platform from a PC, mobile or tablet. It will take a participant roughly 6 hours per week to participate in online webinars, finish pre-reading materials and complete assignments.
Q7: How can I participate in the offline learning program?
Participants of the online course with excellent performance will have the opportunity to be invited to the offline learning session in China after the pandemic. To be eligible, participants are required to:
1. Complete quiz, weekly assignment and capstone on time.
2. Attend AGI mandatory webinars.
3. Obtain online course certificate and overall score of the online course is above the bottom line.
4. No violation of student code of conduct.
Q8: What certificate will be granted on completion of the online course?
An online certificate will be granted by Alibaba Global Initiatives to the participants who successfully complete the online course. To successfully complete the online course, participants are required to:
1. Complete quiz, weekly assignment and capstone on time.
2. Attend AGI mandatory webinars.
3. No violation of student code of conduct.
Q9: What can't the program promise?
